Milk Project

Thinking about the milk project, especially how we will keep it going in 2014...this is no little project, and it really needs to expand as well.  I look forward to seeing how God makes it all happen, because right now it seems out of our league by a far cry.

The milk project is not meeting normally on Fridays, not enough budget for that this year.  But with a group here willing to help, we did it old school....outside, with milk and cookies.  There were over 50 kids that came.

Here are some pictures from that day....pictures that are all captioned starting with "Kids like..."

Kids like to sit and wait patiently...some of the time anyway.

Kids like to talk to Jana, who doesn't?

Kids like to smile

Kids like to color

Kids like to shout

Kids like to know that Christ loves them

Kids like balloon hats

Kids like to wait in line to get awesome balloon hats, animals and swords

Kids like kickballs, even if they have never seen one

Kids like baseballs, even if they have never played before....but not as much as futbol of course

Kids like sunglasses...big sunglasses

Kids like to attack cameras with balloon swords with a vengeance

Kids like milk mustaches

Kids like bracelets

 Kids like making new friends

Kids like taking joy, a fuller stomach, and fun home with them.

Kids like milk, and Jesus.

Our numbers are growing, even if I limit the enrollment. I had nearly 20 extra kids show up on Thursday. We fed them all but it was a challenge. We need God's provision to continue.

May God guide us all in His provision...no other way we can do it.

May He also give us His vision...for today, for difficult times, and for the future!
